If you want to add towing capability to your Phaeton and prefer to go with the factory solution, this kit has everything you need to make the conversion to your V8-powered automobile.
Includes hitch crossbar, removable ball assembly, european lower spoiler w/removable access panel and all hardware required for a factory installation. Hitch ball is 50mm (EU spec) and will accomodate trailers with a 2" tongue (only).
The towing capacity is 5,500 lbs and the tongue weight is 200 lbs.
Notes:
- This is a special-order item and takes four to six weeks for delivery.
- NOT available for W12 vehicles, which are not designed to tow.
- EU-spec wiring is not required or included. Please contact us if you wish to have it added.
